The company had been using Sage for all its business accounting, but finding the system cumbersome to use, along with struggling to find time to keep up with all the paperwork associated with a business being run in the UK and in Spain simultaneously. The Financial Director wanted a system that he could have access to on his mobile, while commuting between the two countries.
Kate from the Paperwork Team, started by transferring the data from Sage to Xero for the previous accounting year. Because Xero is linked to the business bank accounts, the process of transferring the data highlighted a few inaccuracies in the Sage information, which were quickly corrected. It was then easy to reconcile the existing supplier and sales accounts and both the Spanish and the English current accounts and be totally sure that the information was correct.
An accounting system that is based in the UK, but that can be controlled from anywhere in the world.
I am so glad you introduced me to Xero, it is so much easier to use than Sage and gives me the information I need on a day to day basis.
